Cucak Hijau or Cucak Ijo is a Cica-daun Besar or Greater Green Leafbird (Chloropsis sonnerati). The name of this native Indonesian bird is Cica-daun Besar but among bird lovers more often referred to as Cucak Ijo, Cucak Hijau, or Murai Daun. Although often called 'cucak', Cucak Hijau is not a family of merbah or cucak-cucakan and not a tribe with Cucak Rowo. Cica-leaf Large or commonly referred to as Cucak Hijau is a bird member of the family Chloropseidae. Latin name of this bird is Chloropsis sonnerati Jardine & Selby, 1827. In English known as Greater Green Leafbird. This species is closely related to Cica-Leaf Small (C. cyanopogon), Cica-Leaf Wing-blue (C. cochinchinensis), Cica-leaf Forehead-C. (C. aurifrons), and Cica-leaf of Sumatra (C. venusta).

The population of chirping birds of the Chloropseidae tribe is not known for sure. But it is believed to be rare and decline as a result of habitat destruction. However, with large distribution areas, Cica-daun Besar or Cucak Hijau (Chloropsis sonnerati) is categorized under the conservation status of Least Concern (Low Risk, LC) by IUCN Redlist.

In Indonesia, this bird is not included in the list of protected birds.
